What cards do workers need on a construction site in Ireland?
Every worker on a construction site in Ireland must hold a valid SOLAS Safe Pass card, which has to be renewed every four years. Workers doing certain jobs, such as operating excavators, telescopic handlers and site dumpers, erecting scaffolding or directing crane lifts, must also hold the matching Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
